Ever wanted to try fishing but didnt know where or how to start? Well now you do! Join us at the Forks by the waterfront where our skilled team will rent out gear to you and assist and teach you how to fish for catfish!

We will bait your hooks, help you cast, dehook from the bottom, support you when reeling in your catch, net it, unhook your catch and take measurements and photos of you with it! Then we will assist in releasing your prize!

Adults require a Manitoba Fishing Licence to angle.

Manitoba Resident Active Military Members and Veterans A Manitoba resident who is an active military member or a veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces does not require an angling licence, but must be able to show proof of Manitoba residency and one of the following documents when asked by an Officer: • Canadian Forces Identification Card (NDI 20) • Record of Service Card (NDI 75) • Canadian Armed Forces Veterans’ Service Card (NDI 75)
